Verizon won’t launched Windows Phone 7 until 2011
Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 will launched later this year, the global mobile phone sales, but would be limited to GSM networks. Microsoft has chosen to defer to the CDM version released next year, the current development team’s main task lies in improving the operating system.
The current GSM network in Europe and elsewhere have been widely used, but this decision also means that in the U.S. market, Sprint and Verizon Wireless will not launch Windows Phone 7 phones this year. The first Windows Phone 7 phone will be release this holiday season, Microsoft plans to release CDMA version of the Windows Phone 7 next year. It means that, maybe Verizon Wireless will release Windows Phone 7 in 2011. Currently, Microsoft’s smartphone market faces serious challenges. While Microsoft is busy developing Windows Phone 7, Apple’s iPhone has become very popular. On the other hand, based on the Google ,the sale of Android mobile phone is also growing.
