A new Android smartphone from Motorola has just been released by Verizon Wireless. Dubbed as the Motorola Droid 2 Global, the handset sports a 3.7-inch 480 x 854 capacitive touchscreen display, a 1.2GHz processor, a 5.0-megapixel autofocus camera, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, an 8GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), GPS, 3G hotspot support, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headset jack and runs on Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS. The Motorola Droid 2 Global is sold for $199.99 with a 2-year contract and after a $100 mail-in rebate.
