Mobile Number Portability in India

Mobile Number Portability (MNP) is finally arriving in India. MNP is expected to launch in Haryana Circle first from November first according to the article published at The Hindu. Mobile Number Portability will allow the subscribers to change carriers without changing their number.



“Starting from the Haryana circle, the Mobile Number Portability will be rolled out across the country from next month All the 22 circles will get this service in a phased manner by this year-end”, quoted Telecom Minister, A Raja.
