To further broaden its appeal, Hyundai ix35 machines will have a new fuel efficient and six-speed manual and automatic transmission. Western European customers will be offered two choices-efficient and clean combustion gasoline engines: 2.0 Theta II 20.1kg.m nominal torque and 166ps that emits only 178g/km (2WD MT) of CO2 and 1.6 gamma GDI gives 140PS and torque of 17kg. m, available since November 2010, which only gives 158g/km CO2. 1.6 GDI engine is available with the ISG stop-start technology, a greater reduction of CO2 is only 149 g / km.
European diesel lineup includes two new machines: R 2.0 and U-II 1.7, available since November 2010. 2.0 R will come in two output options: high (184ps/40kg.m) and low (136ps/32kg.m) that produce CO2 emissions of just 165g/km (2WD MT) and 158g/km (4WD MT), respectively each.
