Basically unchanged, very important attributes of each car from the back of the xDrive all-wheel drive (available on the coupe), the distribution of nearly perfect 50-50 weight, very precise steering, suspension and technical skills … all of which conspired to produce a driving experience that the only satisfaction is classic BMW.
Everything new is the engine for the 335i model. Internal designated as “N55″, this turbocharged, all aluminum engine features essentially the same “block” and the 3.0-liter engine from its predecessor, but the additional benefit of five years worth of development and improvement. The result is a more responsive engine, more fuel efficient, clean and great length of its predecessor but remains on the machine and the soul output: 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque, and the 7000 rpm red line. The 6-speed manual – is loved by fans driving in North America – remained in place, and the famous 6-speed STEPTRONIC automatic is optional, is now a drag-style shift paddles on the multifunction steering wheel.
Design. Reflect differences legendary BMW Coupé and Convertible
Profile BMW 3-Series coupe and convertible immediately recognizable at first sight. Beyond the basic shape of the car and classic lines, the new design headlights, a more in-depth and detailed rear lights, interior, exterior mirrors and even specially created for the Convertible and Coupe. Unique design elements reflect the character of this sporty car. The driver chose one of two car doors with a desire dynamic aspects and benefits. With this in mind, BMW engineers and designers set out to create a unique, clear blend of design features and, most importantly, the pleasure of driving.
It all starts with proportion. New long hat symbolizes a strong loyalty to the BMW line-6 engine is inherently balanced. The long wheelbase, short overhangs, the passenger compartment in the stern and set a low, sleek roofline which slopes smoothly into the trunk all the characteristics of the BMW coupe and hardtop convertible BMW withdrawn.
In addition to the classic proportions, three design lines of the shoulder, character and low-threshold-improvement neat appearance. Both the shoulder line and character line stretch permanently to the back of the car, so the eyes to move quickly and smoothly from front to rear along the entire length of the car. Line the bottom of the door flows into the front doors and rear air dams, reinforcing the dynamic nature of the latest BMW 3-Series Convertible and Coupe.
The combination of fluid lines each elegantly highlights the potential performance of the vehicle. While the shoulder line rises slightly but always from the front to the rear, the character line flows in a long arc along the road from the front fender of a new rear lights. In line with the doorway, however, moved slightly to the rear in a slow and gentle curve, the distance between the boundary lines of character and become smaller near the rear wheel arches. Fender flare around each rear wheel also serves to give the character line extra tension in both directions upward and outward.
Interesting innovations in the front, side and rear – just integrated into the overall look of the car to give greater emphasis to the sporty models. At the same time, this change slightly extend the front and rear projection (now 1.14 “and 0.12″ long, respectively), which adds more elegant and more athletic.
The new and expanded the front grille, a signature feature of each BMW, matching hood, and highlight the new comprehensive area around them. Interactions with three-dimensional schedule kidney appearance and energy creating a unique style. Frame around the screen now has a very curved chrome band itself.
