2010 Bentley Continental GTC
Introducing a new range of Bentley Continental GTC builds on this success with a smooth evolution of style and technical features and additional benefits of comfort and customer choice. GTC attraction is enhanced by the addition of the new 600 bhp (610PS) Bentley Continental GTC Speed model. This is the most powerful Bentley convertible in history and inspired by the legendary Speed ‘for Bentley model “of the 1920s.
New distribution model GTC front fresh appearance. The air intake grille is more upright radiator with a more pronounced square edge, highlighting the profile of Bentley, is smaller and more daring. This latest model also distinguished by a chrome headlight bezels, the availability of two new exterior paint and new colors to hide.
For standard Bentley Continental GTC, the new low-friction damper provides increased ride comfort. In addition, two important new options that may be specified in GTC models: light, color, fast, carbon-ceramic brakes, brake the largest passenger car production in the world, and a sophisticated tracking system to stop adaptive cruise control with long-range radar sensor to monitor and manage traffic in front of the throttle and brakes to maintain a driver selected intervals.
GTC very rigid chassis and steel body has proved more than capable of overcoming the power of 552bhp (560PS) W12 engine 6-liter. The new Bentley Continental GTC Speed, twin-turbo W12 now developed 610CV (600bhp) which provides some 200 mph (322 km / h) performance, with the roof, with exciting acceleration efforts. Even with the roof down the speed of the Bentley Continental GTC can get to 195 mph (312 km / h).
Bentley Continental GTC Speed is visually distinguished by subtle design improvements that emphasize higher-performance credentials. In front, radiator and air intake lower grille features a dark matrix as a standard. Larger diameter 9.5J x 20-inch alloy wheels with several issuers Bentley Pirelli PZero ultra high performance (UHP) tires, improved suspension and reduction, greater search double exhaust tail pipe and a burst of again mounted spoiler lip which increases high-speed aerodynamics, reinforce the sporting character of the velocity model.
610CV (GTC Speed 600bhp) W12 engine develops an output of 9 per cent more than the standard GTC. However, an increase of 15 percent in the pair that really distinguishes the velocity model, which now develops an impressive output of 750 Nm (553 lbs ft). This is achieved in most of the full range of the round, from just 1700-5600 rpm, said Bentley wave characteristics of torque.
The 0-60 mph sprint is dispatched in just 4.5 seconds (0-100km / h in 4.8 seconds) and 0-100 km / h in 10.6 seconds (0-160 km / h in 10.5 seconds) .
Speed GT Coupe, which debuted in 2007, has become a top model GT sales worldwide. This was followed in the summer of 2008 by a 4-door Continental Flying Spur Speed. Now the family is equipped with the introduction of Speed Bentley Continental GTC Speed, who is expected to take up two thirds of worldwide sales GTC in the first year of production.
Improved propulsion system provides more power and torque
Both the model is supported by Continental GTC Bentley liter of 6 -, dual-turbo W12 engine, produced exclusively in Crewe factory machinery company. The W12 Bentley is the 12 most compact production engine cylinder with 48 valves and camshaft 4 continues with variable valve timing. Power is transmitted through a six-speed ZF automatic transmission.
Engine Speed Bentley Continental GTC W12 powered by Bentley’s most powerful, 600 bhp (610PS) form. Grow 15 percent more torque and more power than 9 percent of 552bhp (560PS) Bentley Continental GTC standards.
Increased engine efficiency results from the use of lower friction, lighter components and a new engine management system, while its twin, the low inertia turbocharger with minimal turbo lag W12 contribute to the curve torque is flat. A 600 bhp (610PS) form, W12 develops a maximum torque of 750 Nm (553 lbs ft) from 1700 rpm all the way up to 5600 rev / min. GTC speed machines that are visually distinguished by the “black crack” end to the intake manifold.
