The 2011 Prius features straightforward climate and audio controls that jut out toward the driver in a "floating console" that provides a storage tray underneath. It's a nice design that helps maximize cabin space. The digital instrument panel also features a floating layer that displays audio, temperature and trip computer information when the driver touches those controls on the steering wheel, minimizing eye movement. Some drivers might find the overall design a bit too busy-looking, however.
Materials quality in the Prius is disappointing, with harder and cheaper plastics than other cars in its price range. The corduroy-like texturing on the climate and audio controls seems nice at first, but collects oil from the skin and causes circular dark spots on most buttons.
In terms of versatility, though, the Prius is still a champ. The hatchback body style provides more cargo capacity than a typical midsize sedan, and the backseat offers plenty of space. Sadly, taller drivers still have to contend with a steering wheel that's placed too far away. There's a telescoping column, but it doesn't come out nearly far enough.

Ferrari F40 Engine Feature:
Both visually and technically the F40 was a clear development of the GTO Evoluzione. The V8 engine was increased in size slightly and developed 478 bhp in stock form, but a performance package boosting power to over 700 bhp was also available. With the GTO it shared the spartan construction, resulting in an impressive kerb weight of 1100 kg; 350 kg lighter than the closest competition, the Porsche 959. With an already impressive power to weight ratio, there was little surprise when Michelotto was again commissioned to turn Ferrari’s latest offering into a racer, this time for the track.

Ferrari F40 Feature:
The 2011 Ferrari F40 is equipped with a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V-8 that pumps out 478 bhp at 7000 rpm and 425 lb.-ft. of torque at 4500 rpm. Mated to the engine is a 5-speed manual transmission with a traditional gated shifter. Based on our October 1991 road test, the F40 can reach 60 mph from a standing start in a scant 3.8 sec., and finish the quarter mile in 11.8 sec. with 124.5 mph showing on the speedometer.

Bamford Watch Department has taken it upon themselves to rectify this situation. They offer the ability to create a one of a kind watch by selecting different colors for the dial, luminescent indices, date wheel, date, and even the ability to add 8 characters of text to the dial (“TRUSTFND,” perhaps). The coup de grace is their unique PVD formula or “physical vapor deposition” coating for the stainless steel. This process blackens all of the stainless steel with a near diamond hard coating, which looks bad ass. With an intuitive website (similar to that of Nike ID) and endless possible combinations, it’s wicked cool. An extra four grand is enough to buy a second used Rolex, but if individuality is imperative, Bamford is the place to go. If we can do it for our cars, computers, and shoes, why not a watch?

Editor’s Note: Purists will probably choke on their caviar at the defiling of this Swiss masterpiece. But, for way less than some of the more limited-run luxury watches you’re getting a classic timepiece and it’s one of a kind. Outside Perspective by Ben Bowers: After discussing Bamford with Brian (one of the many watched obsessed staffers of GP), I learned some interesting facts. For instance, if after having Bamford customize your sub, you find the need to send it to Rolex for repairs/maintenance, apparently they will remove all of the customized work added by Bamford, replace them with standard Rollie parts and bill you for the labor! Talk about purist!
